Conversations with Sports Fans – S5, Episode 57: Audrey Feldman

Host Doug Hill was minding his own business one day in mid-October when he stumbled upon a guest essay in the New York Times authored by a Harvard University Kennedy School of Business professor, a Ph.D. candidate, and a Fox Sports executive. The topic: Sports fandom and how it tamps down hyper-partisan political affiliation. It inspired Doug to reach out to Harvard professor, Dr. Todd Rogers, and he, in turn, put Doug in touch with this week’s guest, Audrey Feldman (the Harvard Ph.D. candidate). The results of that contact is this episode of Conversations where the two discuss Audrey’s work on Harvard’s research on “Shared Sports Fandom Powerfully Reduces Partisanship.”
