This past Friday marked the deadline to enter our giveaway for author Michael Clair’s book, We Sacrifice Everything to Baseball: How the Czech Republic’s Amateur Underdogs Became World Baseball Classic Heroes. Michael, of course, was the guest on Conversations with Sports Fans (S:5, E:29) where he shared plenty of the backstory about how the book came to be.
