Steve McQueen was best-known for his movies and his love of cars (his collection included over 100, it’s reported). The image of McQueen used in this week’s Fan Teaser is from the 1968 film, The Thomas Crown Affair. It seemed appropriate, what with the U.S. Open being played this week at Los Angeles Country Club in the shadow of the Hollywood hills. Below is one of my favorite scenes from my favorite McQueen movie, 1963’s The Great Escape.
