Host Doug Hill first reached out to the Northwestern University Sports Information Office seeking recommendations for a supporters of its freshly (re) crowned NCAA Champion Women’s Field Hockey Team. When that didn’t bear any fruit, he turned to the coaching staff and assistant coach Georgia Holland got back to him remarkably quickly with a name and email for Perry Nigro. Perry was more-than-willing to participate and is a remarkable storyteller (he works in a library, after all!) and shares how his love of the Wildcats’ program grew quite by happenstance.
