Our guest in this episode is Mark Armour, a baseball afficianado, historian, and author living in Corvallis, OR. Mark’s the former President of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR) Board of Directors and founded SABR’s wildly popular Biography Project over 20 years ago. The Bio Project aims to have a written biography of every player in professional baseball history; Mark’s completed dozens of them himself. His current work is known as the Satchel Paige Project in which he’s attempting to document every game Paige has played. To the moment he’s topped 2,000 total games.
