
The University of Virginia’s women’s swimming team recently won it’s sixth consecutive NCAA Championship. A remarkable run for a school that had not won any prior. In this installment of Conversations’ ongoing series speaking to fans of college’s non-revenue sports, host Doug Hill speaks with Cavaliers’ swimming fan – and former All-American – Melanie Thomas about what it’s like seeing her alma mater at the top of the podium for six consecutive years. Oh yeah, they also talk about Melanie’s 1994 Olympic Golf Medal in the 4×100 Freestyle Relay.
