Host Doug Hill catches up with one of his wife Carol’s long-ago work colleagues, Shamit Desai. Shamit, who was born in and currently lives in India, has been – to paraphrase Johnny Cash’s famous cover of Lucky Starr’s “Everywhere Man.” His family first moved to Houston when he was younger then made their way to Detroit. Shamit’s also lived in London, Hong Kong, and Washington, DC, which makes for some fascinating stories about his sports fandom journey. He’s kind enough to share many with us in this episode and, because he’s an active cricket player, takes a turn on helping educate Doug on the sport.
