For the past decade plus, Neal Ruhl has been on the mike for Oakland (MI) University Golden Grizzlies broadcasts of all sorts. Primarily, fans will have heard him on men’s and women’s basketball, but he is the official voice of all OU athletics. In addition, he’s been calling Detroit City FC matches since 2015 and does some fill-in work for both the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls radio broadcasts. When host Doug Hill reached out (during a DCFC match, no less!), he was shocked to get an almost instant reply from Neal.
