Jeff Nelson serves as Pastor of Royal Oak One a United Methodist Church in Royal Oak, MI. Before he was a Michigander (for 38 years now) he was a Wisconsinite and his first sports love were the Milwaukee Brewers of the early 1980s: Harvey’s Wallbangers. We discuss his Wisconsin roots as well as how his heart made room Detroit sports. Not to mention how he regularly incorporates sports into his weekly sermons.
