Pat is the a longtime friend of host Doug Hill’s. The two worked at the Ann Arbor News together back in the early-to-mid 1990s and have kept in touch ever since. Pat was, perhaps, best known at the News as the person who took Sports Editor Geoff Larcom’s idea of the “Fan Teaser” (a cropped image with a clue one day followed a few days later by a solution) to new heights. We’ve borrowed Geoff and Pat’s brainchild and include a #FanTeaser each week at The Sports Fan Project. Pat’s also quite a motor sports fan and we spend a good deal of our time discussing those of the 2-wheeled variety.
