Doug is joined in this episode by Jimmie James, a retired ExxonMobil executive who – like Doug – set out upon a retirement project when he left the work world in the late 2010s. That project was to play the 100 Greatest Golf Courses (as determined by Golf Digest) in one year. Not only did he accomplish the task, he penned a terrific memoir of his journey, Playing from the Rough: A Personal Journey Through America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses.
