In this episode, Doug’s joined by one of his son’s good friends, Connor Ryan. Connor’s first love was hockey but, unfortunately, he missed the glory days of the Detroit Red Wings from the late 1990s and early 2000s so he’s biding his time waiting for the Yzerplan to yield results. One of the most significant sports fan-related moments of Connor’s young life was attending Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium with his mom to see his brother, Brendan, cheer for the LA Rams who wound up beating the Cincinnati Bengals. Connor later had a run-in with the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
