Fran Scislowicz and host Doug Hill have known each other for going on 30 years. Fran coached both girls basketball and softball at Adams High School during the era Doug worked in sports at The Oakland Press. Fran waxes poetic about the Detroit Tigers of his youth and of his time at the University of Detroit during the Dick Vitale era. Fran also shares a touching story of how his younger self was able to orchestrate an entire Scislowicz family outing to the 1971 MLB All-Star Game at Detroit’s Tiger Stadium; an ASG that’s routinely considered one of the greatest collections of baseball talent ever assemble.
