Derek Meinecke is a husband and parent of three in the metro-Detroit area. He’s also the son of the late-Corky Meinecke who was a well-respected and popular Michigan sports writer for three decades. Derek shares with us his origin stories as a sports fan growing up in Grand Rapids, MI, but also touches on the bond shared fandom creates amongst family members.
