Doug and Paula first became acquainted in the early 2010s when the two were local union presidents and fellow suburban Detroiters on the eastside. The two have had myriad conversations through the years but this was the first that centered on Paula’s upbringing in a home that featured no shortage of opportunities to experience recreation and sport.
