Of all the guests not named Jerry Hill, Mike and Doug go back the furthest. Friends since early in high school, both have an affinity for all things sports and even made an overland trip together in 1993 to Denver to see the Colorado Rockies’ franchise home opener. Mike was also, by far, the most prepared guest providing listeners with dates and results of all his firsts. First Tigers’ game, first Pistons’ game, first Wings’ game, etc. Truly remarkable recall and fun to look back those events and their outcomes.
