Sam, a teenager from Melbourne, Australia, is the son of a high school friend of Doug’s. He was surprised with a trip his father won in a contest to Qatar to take in the an Australian National Team World Cup Group Stage match. They also took advantage of the airfare and accommodations and scored tickets to four other Group Stage matches and managed to see six of the 16 teams to advance to the knockout stage – including finalist France. Hearing about the his experiences is simply sublime.
