Lambeau Field Pregame
I do admit to feeling a bit out of place not wearing camo or blaze orange (or green or gold).

Fun Facts

  • Traveling Party – Me and my long-ago work colleague, Dan who lives in Oconomowoc, WI.
  • Last Time Visited – I had been to Lambeau Field twice previously. The first time was for a season-opening game between the Packers and the Detroit Lions on what I believe was September 9, 2001. My family and I stopped by during a summer vacation several years later. Dan had attended a pre-season game within the past season.
  • A Green Bay Packers’ Gift – Imagine my surprise a day or two following the game when I received a lovely email from the Green Packers thanking me for attending. It also included a high resolution photograph of a full Lambeau Field during the game we’d attended. Further, the instructions informed me that I could zoom in on our section to see Dan and I at the exact time of their photographs. Check out those images below. In all my years of fandom, this was the first time I’d experienced anything like this.
  • Another Wisconsin Tradition – As one might imagine for a community as small as Green Bay, it took us a bit to extract ourselves from the Lambeau area and hit the open road. As such, a stop was in order for a quick bite at none other Wisconsin’s entry in the fast food world: Culver’s. I wasn’t all that hungry, so I opted for a peanut butter cup Concrete Mixer.
