Every now and again an innocuous email winds up leading to a serendipitous Conversation with a Sports Fan.

Such was the case in late January when I received an email from Richard Dalley, the Chair of the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame‘s board noting that I did not have that Hall of Fame on the curated page of Halls here at The Sports Fan Project.

I thanked him for bringing it to my attention and promptly seized the opportunity to invite him onto Conversations to discuss this under-visited Hall of Fame and Museum in Colorado Springs.

Himself a member of the Hall and a former world class ice dancer with partner Carol Fox (both inducted in 2019), Dalley helps bring me (and my listeners) up to speed on the who’s in the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame and what visitors might see when stopping by. Richard was kind enough to direct me to a handy website he’s helped develop that highlights the various inductees. You’re able to check it out at this link.
