Imagine riding your bicycle 100 miles a day for 21 consecutive days. That’s what avid cyclists and cycling fan Mark Yeaton did in early June. Mark, who hails from Columbus, IN, attempted to replicate the distance – if not the scenery and elevation changes – of the Tour de France when he concocted the Tour de IDES (International Disaster Emergency Services). IDES was the Indiana-based group that helped his charity ride raise funds for the Haitiian organization, Milk for Mothers. If you’d like to donate to Mark’s cause, visit the donation portal here and select “Ride for IDES” from the drop down menu.
