Host Doug Hill has known Stephen Miller for a half dozen or so years, but the two had never really engaged in a deep dialogue about anything prior to this Conversation. It was, in many ways, one of Doug’s favorites to speak to someone who’s interest in soccer – North American soccer, primarily – run so deep and is so passionate. Likewise, Stephens studies until noted UC Berkeley sociology professor Harry Edwards helped send this discussion in different directions. And, as Stephen alludes to during the Conversation, he and Doug will both enjoy 10 days together touring Korea and Japan in the near future.
