Host Doug Hill learned about Fr. Burke’s role as Chicago Cubs’ Team Chaplain in a summer issue of the The Columbian the magazine of the Catholic fraternal organization, the Knights of Columbus. Prior to entering the seminary, Fr. Burke was an actuary and, before that, an accomplished baseball player at Mississippi State University where he helped lead the Bulldogs to the Men’s College World Series.
