John Paklidenaz is a longtime acquaintence of Doug’s through their work within the Michigan Education Association. Imagine Doug’s surprise when he learned John attended the school district he works in and that one of John’s high school English teachers was actually Doug’s local’s vice president. Truly a small world! During their time together in this episode we learn that John’s belly (or forehead or something) should be rubbed by anyone attempting to win tickets in the annual Masters’ lottery; John will be attending for a third time in 2024!
