Andy Appleby has spent nearly his entire life in sports. From high school athlete (wrestling and cross country) to employee of the Detroit Pistons and later for the Palace Sports and Entertainment, he methodically built a career in the world of sports. Today, he’s the owner of a 4-team Independent Baseball League (United Shore Professional Baseball League) as well as the Chairman and CEO of General Sports Worldwide. Along the way Andy’s also served as owner of the Derby County Football Club and of the Fort Wayne Wizards (now the TinCaps).
