Sara is a math coach and her teacher’s union’s vice president in Des Moines, IA, whom Doug has known for over five years. An ardent Chicago Cubs fan, Sara was the source for some sweet tickets about a dozen rows behind the Cubs’ dugout this summer. Sara also talks life as a sports fan growing up in America’s Heartland, her newfound love of volleyball (thanks to her daughter), and her interest in getting to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City someday.
